The fanfare motives are introduced to set the mood. After a brief percussion break, the main theme is introduced by the upper woodwinds and trumpets. This is followed by woodwind and brass soli sections before returning to the full ensemble. Next, the low voices are featured with the melody but in the new key of F. The song ends with the fanfare motives heard in the beginning of the piece.
