This creative march was written for the Foster High School Symphonic Band, under the direction of my son, Chris Crummel. The first half of the march features the clarinets, followed by the flutes, alto saxes, and trumpets. After a short percussion break the march segues into the familiar Irish Folk Song "Oh Danny Boy". The melody is carried by the clarinets and euphoniums with a fun counter melody played as a flute solo or section. As the march develops the brass enters with the melodic material and the flutes, 1st clarinet, and 1st alto sax play a fun countermelody! The march ends with a surprise deceptive cadence before the glorious final chord.
